Sharon Christensen, 81, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT with family by her side.

Sharon was born on July 18, 1944, in Richland County to parents Einer and Frieda {Bieber) Conradsen. Sharon grew up on a farm north of Sidney, MT. During her younger years Sharon helped her father in the fields and was educated at Hardy and Ridgelawn Schools. She was a proud graduate of the Class of 1964, which was the first class to graduate from the new Sidney High School. Sharon was baptized and confirmed at Pella Lutheran Church. She enjoyed participating in Luther League and 4H. Sharon met the love of her life Ken Christensen, at a ballgame through her dear friend Grace. On January 28, 1966, Sharon and Ken were united in marriage at Pella Lutheran Church in Sidney MT.

Together they raised two daughters, Yvonne and Tina. Sharon and Ken lived on the family farm in Cartwright, ND until they moved to Sidney, MT, and then finally moved to Glendive, MT in 1971. One of her earliest work experiences was in the kitchen at the Sidney Health Center. She retired as a CNA at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care. Sharon attended Zion Lutheran Church in Glendive, MT, where she helped with Sunday School and the annual lutefisk dinner. Among her many interests were socializing with others, reading, playing games including word finds, and driving in the surrounding countryside. Swans, wagon wheels, and lighthouses were some of her favorite things.

Sharon walked through life with a strong faith in the Lord. Her most common phrase was “Whatever will be, will be.”
Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents Einer and Frieda (Bieber) Conradsen; two brothers Cliff Conradsen and Dale Conradsen; father-in-law George Christensen; mother-in-law Gertrude Christensen; sister-in-law Anne Christensen; brother-in-law Albert Christensen and niece Cheryl Conradsen.

Sharon left behind her loving husband of 60 years Ken Christensen of Glendive, MT; their two children Yvonne (Mike) Jackson and Tina (Clint) Christensen-Wright both of Billings, MT; sister Carol (Stuart) Brodhead of Dickinson, ND; sisters-in-law Helen Conradsen of Wolf Point, MT and Grace (Merlin) Damm of Glendive MT; seven nieces and nephews: Connie, David, Cordell, Steven, Leeann, Dyann, and Aaron; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
