I played basketball in Iroquois with Wayne. He was the tall one in the center and Westerberg was also the tall one as forward. I was the last one on the bench in case the other two tall ones fouled out. They never did. Wayne went to Class B state championship at Sioux Falls. He was so dependable that I was not invited. He provided good fun for the rest of us red shirts at practice. I never measured up to him, He was a senior and I was a freshman. I'm sorry to hear about his passing.

To Wayne’s family,
So sorry to hear of Macs passing. We both had Mr M as a counselor at WHS. But he and Pedar became good friends many years ago helping each other with projects. We enjoyed many gatherings at his shop over the years with all his friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

As former students of Mr. McNaboe at WHS, Dale and I are saddened to hear about his passing. I have fond memories remembering the high school days and what fun Mr. McNaboe was with entertaining the classes with a game of basketball against the other teachers. He touched so many lives and the world is a better place for it!
May his loved ones find strength during these difficult times.

Our Sincerest sympathies to Mac’s family and friends. Mac was such a good person and was an excellent school counselor as well as a great “digger”. Our family was blessed in getting to know him in both aspects of his work. Him, his smile and chuckle will be fondly remembered and missed.
