So many memories of Marlys!!! from her throwing Kali her baby shower and everyone wanted to put things on her head. She was so happy for me that I got my girl. She lived life to the fullest and was going to see the world as much time allowed. She was a saint! She took me on my first trip to Hawaii and had no problem driving in Hawaii. We went to the Big Sur and watched them surf and to hang ten!!! She endured being sick at such a young age. Her sister Judy gave her a new kidney. We hung out with the life guards and seeing the nude beach. Went to the hold in the mountain where people were jumping in, We went to a dance with the Hawaiian dancers. The only time I regret was not doing more over there We filled our days full. Edith Ann was the most gracious host. Loved those days and I'm going to live my life to the fullest and see as much as I can. Until I can'1 She asked about Kali all the time.. Jim meant a lot to her being her coach. So much in her life. Will miss running into you.. The last time I seen her was at the meat market and she told me her mother was healthier than she was. She was right!! Joyce endured a lot of deaths in her family! Losing a son at such a young age was hard on them all. You will always be missed by us old nurses!!!! Love Carol!

Marlys helped me deliver Evsn & I can still hear her saying, push Karen push. She took loving care of me. Marlys & Jim dressed up as Santa & Mrs Clause surprising our kid’s Christmas Eve at grandmas house. Marlys was a great ref then line judge for volleyball. She knew my extended family from Tioga’s community news. Friends from big cities were so impressed that they were in the newspaper!! She was like glue holding our town together. Thanks Marlys for life well lived.
