I had the privilege of knowing Scott at UND, while working in Cameroon, and when our visits brought us together in DC and North Dakota. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.

We were saddened to read of Scott's untimely passing in the UND Alumni Magazine.
We both studied Geological Engineering with Scott at UND and always looked forward to hearing about his yearly adventures in his Christmas letters to us. He will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.
