After graduating high school, Bailey attended college at NDSCS for Diesel Technology, upon graduation Bailey started his career at Butler Cat in Minot. After almost a year, he decided to take a position with his brother-in-law Zach where he learned more about oil and gas production, from Zach and his dad, which led him to go back to school online through BSC to get his Petroleum Production degree. While going to school he worked full time at Hess, inc. as a Reliability Operator. This gave him the freedom on his days off to do the things he really enjoyed.
Bailey loved spending time doing anything outdoors, he was a natural athlete and was always up for a challenge. Some of his favorite things to do included hunting, fishing, snowboarding, golfing, wake surfing, and helping on the farm. He spent many evenings with his friends and family embracing being the life of the party. Bailey always welcomed people with a unique greeting, he was always cracking jokes, filling a room with laughter and smiles. He also enjoyed cooking, he always referred to himself as the “Smoke Master”. Although Bailey loved being active and outdoors, he also enjoyed snuggling up on the couch with his longtime girlfriend, Britta, watching his favorite movies, quoting and singing every line.
Bailey is survived by his parents, Dean and Sherri Branesky. He was a true momma’s boy, being as spoiled as he could be. They spent many evenings cooking, grilling, and just talking about life. He enjoyed fishing and working on projects with his dad, Dean. Bailey was a mini-Dean and they would often complain to each other about the same things. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Caitlyn and Zach Laska, as well as his 3 nephews, Landon, Ryker, Gavin, and his niece, Avery. He had a close relationship with all of them, spending lots of time laughing and making memories. Britta was the love of Bailey’s life, they talked in depth about their future plans, including building a house, starting a family and recently Bailey made it known his intentions to ask Britta to marry him.
