Bodhisotpha “Bodhi” was born on December 19, 2004 in Anchorage, Alaska to Tabitha Corneille and Joshua Dakutak. Bodhi enjoyed playing in the outdoors there, especially with his older sister, Tacona. He was born with a smile that could light up a room. Three years later, Bodhi’s little brother, and best friend, Deegan was born. He and his family moved to Louisiana for a few years to be near extended family. In 2015, they moved to Watford City, ND. His friends and family all say, “Bodhi was a protector!” He would make sure to have you laugh on a good day and brighten a tough day with a joke, silly antic, or with a dance. Bodhi stood up for the people he cared about.
Bodhi enjoyed longboarding. He liked seeing the result of a day’s work, from helping his dad at a young age work on a vehicle or his recent new construction job. He was proud of what he did at the end of the workday. Bodhi learned how to be kind and loving like his mom and his Gammy. He was spirited and kind. As much as we all loved his smile and laugh, he wanted to make everyone else smile and laugh too!
Bodhisotpha “Bodhi” passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, of injuries received in an automobile accident.
